Missiles

Missiles are projectile weapons launched from a ship primarily against enemy planets. Some missiles can be used against both planets and ships. In that case, the missle can typically explode on either type of target or in-space causing damage to the objects around it.

Component Size: 10 - 5Prerequisite: Nuclear Missile
Rate of Destruction: 10 - 1Resources: Crystals Energy Gases Radioactives Raw Metals

Extinction Level EventWhen this missile impacts with a planet, it sets off a chain reaction that ultimately ends with the planets complete destruction. The destruction occurs over a specific number of rounds as the wave of energy rids the planet of all lifeforms. You can upgrade the efficiency of this destructive force to end a planet's life more swiftly.

Component Size: 30 - 20Prerequisite: Nuclear Missile
Rate of Destruction: 16 - 5Resources: Crystals Energy Gases Radioactives Raw Metals

Fusion InhibitorThis terrible tool of destruction is capable of silencing the fusion reaction that powers all stars. Once this missile impacts with a star, the chain reaction is unstoppable. Over the next few turns, the star slowly shuts down and begins to collapse. The shutdown is so sudden that there is a high likelihood that the star will tear the fabric of gravity and create a black hole.

Component Size: 20 - 10Prerequisite: Nuclear Missile
Rate of Destruction: 20 - 5Resources: Crystals Energy Gases Radioactives Raw Metals

GenesisDeviceA Genesis Device refactors a planet's biological and genetic makeup to produce a living, breathing habitable world from one that was previously uninhabited. Only specific types of planets can be used as a foundation for a Genesis transformation. Also, only one habitable world can exist in a given solar system. You can upgrade the efficiency of the transformation to speed the creation of the habitable world.

Blast Radius: 3 - 20Component Size: 30 - 20
Prerequisite: Nuclear MissileResources: Crystals Energy Gases Radioactives Raw Metals

Nova CatalystThe Nova Catalyst missile, like the Fusion Inhibitor, can only be used against a star. Upon impact, it begins an unstoppable chain reaction which releases a massive, ring-shaped solar flare. This Nova Ring explodes away from the surface of the star, increasing radius each round until the energy eventually dies off some distance away from the star. Everything caught in the wake of the blast is instantly incinerated.

Blast Radius: 1 - 3Component Size: 2 - 1
Kilotons: 1 - 101Magnitude: 1 - 10
Prerequisite: Missile TechnologyResources: Crystals Energy Gases Radioactives Raw Metals

Nuclear MissileA powerful weapon of mass destruction, once upgraded, capable of damaging both planets and ships. In addition to immediate damage, the explosion triggers an electro-magnetic pulse that knocks out all electrical technology within a specific radius. Ships and planets affected by the EMP pulse are neutralized for an arbitrary number of rounds.
